That is a great list. Are there any lists for the specific places? I think it would be way much better. Thanks!

Mountain climbing or Rock climbing may be a dangerous activity, but with the help of proper
training and good mountain climbing gear your risk can be minimized to a great extent.

Dean is a tru inspiration! Whether he wants to be called that or not! I heard about him from a family that came rafting with us with their blind son. Dean was the inspiration that helped the parents ease up a little and allow their amazing child to follow his dreams and realize that his sight was only a small obstacle. Thanks for posting this!

Good list, but seems a little bit to broad when defined at the country level! I can think of plenty of boring places in New Zeland, and at the same time there are thousands od great adventures to be had in a place as mundane as the USA. Take for example the time I spent rafting Cataract Canyon on te Colorado River this year when it was running at 80,000cfs! Now that's an adventure!

I'd like to take out a life insurance policy on this adrenaline junkie. Sooner or later, his number is going to come up craps. What is that, a class 37 rapid? I know he survived, but how many times does anyone think he can do this and survive, once, twice? Its kind of like going over Niagara falls in a barrel. Sure, some survive, but not many. This guy is clearly certifiable.

Credit where it's due, you're a braver man than me by miles. Maybe it's because I can see that I'm put off, who knows. Have you done base jumping? A friend of mine does base jumping and has done all sorts of things like riding a bike off a cliff, jumping from office blocks. Personally I think he's nuts but he's been doign it for years.

Anyway, love the post, keep living the life!

Mountain biking is one of the most popular adventure sports today. Adrenaline junkies are flocking to new corners of the globe to explore new track. Before they had never seen a mountain bike
