I can think of plenty of boring places in New Zeland, and at the same time there are thousands od great adventures to be had in a place as mundane as the USA. Take for example the time I spent rafting Cataract Canyon on te Colorado River this year when it was running at 80,000cfs! Now that's an adventure! Maybe it's because I can see that I'm put off, who knows. Have you done base jumping? A friend of mine does base jumping and has done all sorts of things like riding a bike off a cliff, jumping from office blocks. Personally I think he's nuts but he's been doign it for years.
